Why?
A year ago Gov. Abott said AR-15 style weapons should be owned by everyone who wants one. In his press conference today he applauded law enforcement and made no mention of his stance a year ago, yet called the shooting “incomprehensible.” Really?
It was predictable that another shooting would happen. I’m a veteran and the only place an AR-15 style weapon belongs is in the hands of trained military personnel – you don’t need them for hunting.

Interesting Mr. Rosas. I was in the Marines, and we did not use AR-15s. We used an M16A2 Service Rifle. While the appearance may look the same, they are different, considering the one I mentioned is fully automatic.
Guns themselves do not cause what happened in Uvalde. What causes that is a mortally sick heart in need of a Savior, who is Jesus.
